Scope of Service (Forensic Genealogy)

Legacy Probates provides expert forensic genealogy and archival research services designed to identify legal heirs to dormant or unclaimed estates. Our "Digital Archivist" methodology employs a combination of historical records, genomic data analysis, and multi-jurisdictional legal databases.

The scope includes the reconstruction of family lineages, the location of missing beneficiaries, and the procurement of primary documentation necessary to substantiate legal claims before probate courts or relevant financial authorities.

Claim Verification Requirements

Identity Authentication

Clients must provide notarized identification and valid proof of relation as requested by our archival team. Legacy Probates reserves the right to suspend any claim where documentation is deemed insufficient or unverifiable.

Data Integrity

All information submitted to the Archive must be accurate. Misrepresentation of lineage or withholding known heirs constitutes a breach of this agreement and may lead to immediate termination of the claim process.

Liability Limitations

Article 3.1: Professional Limitation

While Legacy Probates utilizes industry-leading research methodologies, we do not guarantee the successful recovery of funds. Genetic and archival research is subject to the availability and accuracy of external records.

Legacy Probates shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from delays in probate court proceedings or changes in statutory law regarding unclaimed property.

Fee Structure (Zero-Upfront Policy)

The Success-Based Model

Legacy Probates operates on a strict "Zero-Upfront" policy. We bear all costs associated with genealogical research, document procurement, and administrative filings. Our compensation is derived solely as a fixed percentage of the successfully recovered asset.

Service Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement upon written notice. However, should a client terminate the agreement after Legacy Probates has successfully identified a valid claim, Legacy Probates retains the right to reimbursement for documented research expenses and a pro-rated portion of the success fee.
